Diagnostic challenge
What is the diagnosis:
1. Dermatitis herpetiformis
2. Impetigo
3. Measles
4. Secondary syphilis
5. Varicella (Chickenpox)
Make your best diagnosis and commit in a comment. The answer will be posted tomorrow!!!
"Dewdrop on a rose petal" lesions suggest something herpetic. My vote goes to an awful case of disseminated Varicella Zoster in an adult--especially if she were pregnant.
If it ain't that, dermatitis herpetiformis!
(Answer sent while riding on shuttle at the ACP meeting. You here?)

Impetigo
I vote for chickenpox.
I think Measles but it should be all over the body ..
I think it's dermatitis herpetiformis.

Chicken Pox.
Dermatitis herpetiformis.. generalized. At first blush I thought impetigo. So much for first impressions..
Part of me wanted to go with dermatitis herpetiformis, but it looks like a few of those lesions are at different stages.
I'm not positive, but wouldn't that be evidence against DH/in favor of varicella?
Don't keep us waiting any longer Dr. Brayer!
Looks like a chickenpox.
It will not succeed in actual fact, that is what I think.
Well, I don't really think it may have success.
