Herpes Zoster

Yes, you smart readers.  The answer to yesterdays challenge is Herpes Zoster, AKA: shingles.  Grady Doc was most precise with Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus.  (involving the eye and optic nerve).  Note that the lesions do not cross the midline as they remain in the nerve distribution.

Treatment with antiviral medication is effective if started within the first 48 hours of symptoms.

Find comfort in others who are going through the same thing at http://www.HerpesLove.net. Realize that life is unpredictable and things can always be worse. It kills me to read on here how some people do not believe they will ever love again or have a healthy relationship because they have herpes. I believe there is someone out there for everyone and what's meant to be will happen. Keep faith!
